Salt & Honey

A home kitchen with a real following, turned into a brand people can actually order from.

The short version

Brand, site, and ordering in one build

Salt & Honey had the food and the followers. What it didn't have was a front door. We built the whole thing, a real brand, a website that sells, online ordering, and nutrition session booking, so the business could grow past word of mouth.

The starting point

Great food, no front door

Salt & Honey started the way a lot of good food businesses do. A talented baker, a loyal handful of regulars, and no real way to grow past word of mouth. The demand was there. The front door wasn't.

There was no brand that matched the quality of the food, no website to send anyone to, and no way to place an order without a back-and-forth text thread. When a business can't be found and can't be ordered from easily, it leaves money on the table every single day. That was the problem to solve.

What we built

A brand and a storefront, start to finish

01

Brand identity

A complete look, the monogram, wordmark, colors, and voice, so the sign, the packaging, and the site all feel like one place.

02

Marketing website

Story, menu, and visit pages that make a first-time visitor want to come in the door, fast and clean on every phone.

03

Online ordering

A simple, mobile checkout so the kitchen could sell from day one. No app, no friction, no more text-thread orders.

04

Session booking

One-on-one nutrition sessions people can book straight from the site, wired into the same clean experience.

How we did it

Choices made on purpose

Brand before pages

We nailed the look and the voice first, so everything that came after matched. A site built on a real brand feels like a business, not a template.

Built to sell, not just to look nice

Every page points somewhere: order, book, or visit. Pretty is table stakes. The job of the site is to turn a curious visitor into an order.

Easy to run from a phone

The owner runs the business, not a web dashboard. Ordering and booking work on their own, so the kitchen can stay in the kitchen.

Fast by default

Light, quick, and mobile-first, because most customers show up on a phone and a slow page loses them before they ever see the food.

Michael took what was in my head and made it real. The brand finally looks like the food tastes, and people can actually order now instead of texting me one by one.”
